Our first step was to start with analytics by undertaking a thorough website audit, with a focus on conversion rate and user experience. After engaging in user testing and taking into consideration relevant trends, we were able to uncover a range of insights and develop our digital strategy.
The Lay of the Land
Design Hotels is the world’s first collection of carefully crafted, privately owned and operated hotels selected by their unique creative offer. Although the brand is widely recognised, their new website presented revenue and user experience problems and they had not yet tapped into the full potential of their digital capabilities.
We initiated our website strategy by first defining digital KPIs that would help define and measure the success of the website as well as digital campaigns.
Website Design Developments
To improve results and efficiencies, we developed a tool that would analyse all the data and allow our partner to solve performance issues internally. Further major developments included streamlining the booking process and building an independent website for the campaign “Original Experiences”, which showcased engaging and intimate experiences of destinations through beautifully crafted videos.
